Notifications Overview
Puush sends notifications when important events happen — production submitted, credentials expiring, issues created, attribute values changing, and more. You control what you receive and how it is delivered.
How Notifications Work
Notifications have two layers: what triggers them and how they are delivered.
Some notifications are automatic (like credential expiration alerts), while others require you to subscribe or configure rules. Once triggered, notifications are delivered through one or more channels — in-app messages, email, or SMS — depending on your delivery settings.
Types of Notifications
| Type | What It Does | Where to Configure |
|---|---|---|
| Notification Subscriptions | Subscribe to events like production submitted, approved, or rejected | Settings > Manage Notification Subscriptions |
| Issue Notifications | Alerts when issues matching specific priorities and types are created | Settings > Notifications > Issue Notifications |
| Data Notifications | Alerts when attribute values meet conditions you define | Settings > Notifications > Data Notifications |
| Accounting & Pricing | Alerts for pricing locks, invoice-ready items, and new purchase orders | Settings > Notifications > Accounting & Pricing |
| Job Status | Alerts when jobs move to specific statuses | Settings > Notifications > Job Status |
| Credential Expiration | Automatic alerts when credentials are expiring or expired | Automatic — no configuration needed |
| Document Notifications | Date-based reminders on site documents | Per-document (configured on each site) |
Delivery Channels
All notifications appear as in-app messages. You can also enable email and SMS delivery. See Delivery Channels for setup details.
All notification settings are found in Settings. Click your name in the top-right corner, then select Settings.
